Lee Hsien Loong Instagram – Generative AI, international tensions, climate change – these are some of the risks and challenges confronting Singapore and the world. I joined the @nrfsg Research, Innovation and Enterprise Council (RIEC) to discuss these issues and more for their Mid Term Review today. The Council last met in December 2022.
The RIEC comprises Cabinet Ministers and distinguished local and foreign members from business, science and technology. Its role is to advise the government on national research and innovation strategies, and ways to strengthen Singapore’s innovation and technology translation capabilities. This has enabled Singapore to seize opportunities and create new solutions for global challenges.
