I vividly recall standing there 20 years ago to take the same oath of office. I had big shoes to fill, and I’m extremely grateful to Singaporeans for walking the journey together with me.
I am honoured to serve as Senior Minister, under the leadership of PM Lawrence and together with his 4G team. I will do my best, now in a different role, to make Singapore shine bright in the world.
I ask all Singaporeans to join me in giving PM Lawrence our fullest support to take Singapore to greater heights.
