Mark your calendars! Just 1 week from today (Thursday, May 20), we will be hosting a special event to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Freedom Rides at the Freedom Rides Museum.
Speakers confirmed for this in-person event are Freedom Riders Dr. Bernard Lafayette, Jim Zwerg, and Catherine Burks-Brooks; activists Bob Zellner and Valda Montgomery; Montgomery-raised director Barry Alexander Brown; with remote readings by actors Lucas Till, Dexter Darden, Mike Manning, Laurissa Romain, and Matt Knowles.
