Well, that was an incredibly moving experience last night at @outsidersmusical. ❤️Congratulations to the entire creative team, cast, crew, and front of house at the Jacobs. A very special thanks to #danyataymor and the cast who came out to meet my crew. Great to see some @carnegiemellon Tartans in there, as well. Enjoy the well-deserved Tony time (12 nominations!) and here’s to a great run with this beautiful show. Stay Gold! (…and a special nod to @brody_grant for leading the charge)!❤️
We’re a month away from Insidious: The Red Door, so I thought I’d start periodically sharing some pics from the pre-pro/filming/post-pro process. I walked by this photo many, many times at Company3, in Hollywood, while coloring the movie. The significance? Zoom in to the card. This was at the end of filming Angels in America for HBO, 21 years ago… I was there. Mike knew how to celebrate/honor birthdays, so it was only fitting that we gave him a special, splashy one in return. It’s only fitting that the man who gave me a film career should loom large in the making of my directorial debut. I know he’d be proud… And I absolutely can’t help but point out the significance of discussing Angels during Pride Month. Happy Pride! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️(And get ready to deal with the Lamberts again in Insidious: The Red Door 👹👻)
No, no..it’s not an April Fool’s joke. Insidious will be back in AMC theaters on April 1st in 44 markets and 100 theaters! So excited for this #blumhousehalfwaytohalloween extravaganza.
