Peter Mayhew Instagram – Stop number two meant so much to us because Texas Children’s Hospital is where young Maya underwent her cancer surgery. The amazing surgical team performed a 2/3 liver resection and removed over two dozen active cancer nodules. Maya is doing great, she’s in remission and thriving.
The Mayhew Foundation dropped off $11,221 in toys to Texas Children’s today making our day one total $22,031 in toys donated by Holocron Toys that we’ve been able to take to children’s hospitals just in time for the holidays.
Thank you to everyone that helped the Wookiee give! Our friends at @PenskeTruck donated the truck and the HWY 81/287 @walmart helped us fill the truck with fuel!
