Saransh Goila Instagram – Episode No. 7 of Feels Wale Meals is here! Today’s idea is to take your comforting Khichdi or dal tadka rice or curd rice and upgrade it into a bowl by adding protein, veggies and more texture to it! We made a nice Mehri which is basically butter milk abs tadka rice combined together Magic chicken fry (which you can make with mushroom, paneer or tofu) for which we used @mostlysane ki mumma @archanakoli ka special Koli Masala which is Delishaaas we added masala pyaaz and banana chips for Intersting crunch and variety to our bowl. What would you add to your Khichdi or Mehri bowl?

Mehri Lunch Bowl

1 cup Soaked short grain rice
1 tbsp Mustard oil
1 tsp Jeera
1/2 tsp Hing
1 tsp Coriander seeds
2 Dried red chilies
Add the rice
& mix everything well
Add water as required
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Haldi powder
Mix everything well
Cook for 2 whistles
Look at that 😮‍💨🤤

1 1/2 cup Dahi
3 cups Water in
Salt to taste
Mix well
& the chaas to the rice
1 inch Ginger, chopped
A few curry leaves
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
Mix well & bring to a light simmer

250g Chicken thighs, cut into cubes or paneer/mushroom/tofu
2 tbsp Kolis special chicken masala
1 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Haldi powder
2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp Mustard oil
Salt to taste
Juice of 1 lemon
Mix everything well

Marinate for 30 minutes
Heat some oil in a pan
Add the marinated chicken
Cover & cook for 5 to 8 minutes
Further shallow till golden brown & crispy
Serve hot with mehri, masala pyaaz & banana chips
