What is VISA-FREE?!🤔
I know I know… with so many countries going visa-free one after the other, it’s a very exciting time for Indian travellers but it can also be very confusing when it comes to the details of it all especially because of so much misinformation out there😥
NOTE: Bhutan has a fee of INR 1200/day/person
But don’t worry! Let me explain this a bit for you –
VISA-FREE simply means you can enter a country without a visa! So yay to spontaneous trips and no visa-fee
VISA-ON-ARRIVAL means that you can get a visa issued directly at the airport, upon arriving into the country. So still yay to spontaneous trips but you need to carry all the required docs for a visa and pay a visa-fee (if any)
Now there are some other terms like “eTA Form”, “Digital Arrival Card”, “Pre-arrival Form”, etc. which simply mean that you don’t exactly need a visa but there has to be some paperwork done before travelling to the country. In some cases there might even be a fee with it – Best way to know is to check on authorized websites to get the right information ✅
