Amanda Leve Instagram – Last night was suppose to be fight night for me, but unfortunately, the universe had other plans. I wasn’t going to make a post, but I want it known that I was physically, mentally, & technically at my very best for the fight & the PFL tournament. I wasn’t able to be cleared medically due to something found on my MRA scan of my brain that is now looking like I will probably never be able to fight in MMA again.
All I’ve known since I was a teenager was that I wanted to fight. I was disciplined & dedicated, so I hate that this is how my story is turning out. As happy as I am that I got to the professional stage, I feel like I was only getting started. It saddens me to think I’ll never be able to reach my full potential in the cage. And after seeing those fights last night, I know, without a doubt, I would’ve been one of the best women’s featherweights in the world. I’ll still train & grapple, but nothing will compare to fighting.
I want to thank everyone who has helped me over the course of my mma career, the people who cheered for me, and to the @pflmma for giving me an amazing opportunity in my last two fights.
