Amanda Leve Instagram – Monday night I awarded a wrestler the first ever Amanda Leve Award. Many might not know that 10 years ago, I tried joining the wrestling team at my high school, but I was denied by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for being a girl trying to join a team of boys since there wasn’t a team for girls. This year, my high school FINALLY got a girls wrestling team. I am honored to say they named the 1st ever female wrestling award after me for my efforts 10 years ago. This award will be given to one girl every season. I am so happy the 1st girl to receive it is Molly, a hardworking & strong young woman. Congrats Molly! Thank you to all those who supported me 10 years ago & to all that made this award possible!🥹🤍
