ADCC West Coast Trials- 5 matches this weekend. Winning 4 in submissions. 5th one I had to concede during due to a knee injury.
Sad it ended the way it did, but from takedowns to submissions I was on fire for both trials. (East Coast Trials— 4 matches won with 4 subs)
It’s been a rough year for me. My ultimate dream was crushed last year around this time when I found out I couldn’t fight mma anymore due to a health issue. Atleast with this injury I know I’ll be back on the mats. Funny because after finding out my mma dreams were gone, I wasn’t sure I even wanted to come back to jiujitsu competitions, and here I am an east coast trials winner and just short of west coast trials winner.
