Networking doesn’t have a clear direction. You may find yourself simply trying to meet as many people as possible, without knowing what you want from them.
🎯 When you have a clear idea of where you want to end up in the next 3-5 years, it becomes easier to figure out who you need to connect with. If you want to move into a different industry, climb the corporate ladder, start your own business – these are all different directions that require different things.
Think hard about what you want to do with your career, and THEN begin establishing your network by connecting with the people you actually need to know.
