The Albanese government has begun “cutting red tape for foreign investors” in an “anti-small business budget” handed down by Treasurer Jim Chalmers.
This budget is reckless.
“If you look at the Future Made in Australia, they are actually cutting red tape for foreign investors and big business to get a piece of it,” she said.
“Where are the small businesses in that?
I have provided $10.8 million for small business mental health support because they know how hard it is for the small business community. However they won’t do anything to ensure that they’re not closing their doors on a daily basis.
This budget is an anti-small business budget. We need to accept the fact that this government will not ever support small business community, the way we need them to.
