Various accounts of dramatic ancient recipes extracted from the depths of the Earth. They spiral up. Red is a woman in spring, naked, wet and mystified, kept awake under a full moon light. White is Winter, blazing its violent, necessary winds, magnificent, yet deadly, riding us all into the abbyss. We looked at each other like lovers do to say goodbye. I’ve counted miles and miles of breaths spent dancing in unison with a view of the other pre-defined by memory and experimented as such through a heart to heart connection. Sometimes we crave that blissful moment of isolation. We are alone, capable of caring the weight of disaster on our shoulders, holding to that secret with dear life, becoming liberated and overwhelmed at the same time. Unbeknownst to us, it’s never just like that. The cracks in our souls linger close to other cracks-visible and invisible, new and old-joining forces like rivers coming together to pour their strong fresh waters into the ocean. Our bodies slide and thick liquid penetrates our lungs and ear drums, we affect everything as music grows louder, initiating stark shapes stacked together like codes ready to travel as far as space storms allow.
