Annabel Crabb Instagram – Rude of me not to say thank you to Melbourne and the @melbcomedyfestival and @thecapitolrmit for showing me and my family such a beautiful week, all my children want to move to Melbourne now. Some highlights – the BRILLIANT @nina_sanadze exhibition at @ngvmelbourne at Federation Square – such a powerful series on monuments, how they crumble, what their value is… and the bigger but STILL ALSO FREE Wurrdha Marra (Many Mobs) exhibition which has such a great array of art from all around Australia, works in neon and weaving and painting of course but also this series of photographs by @deacondestiny which I absolutely loved – swipe for a look but I have photographed them so badly that you will need to go see them yourself… a free day out but so valuable. Hasten there! Plus, I love hydrangeas and while in Melbourne saw two things that captured me. Butterfly hydrangeas at @flowersvasette – ohhhhhh. And whoever it was up the road at @evassunday.linen who thought of gaffer taping dried hydrangeas upside down to the wall as art… I approve of your instincts. APPROVE. Plus @whereiscarrotman … a life highlight. In the very flesh. Rock on, Melbourne. And thank you. X
