Razor was beside me as always, but my old man cat Button decided he wanted to be a part of the proceedings. He’s gotten all sentimental in his old age & now does the sweetest things out of the blue. He jumped up in my lap, snuggled under my sweatshirt, popped his head out the top, & promptly fell asleep, his little purrs softly vibrating through me. 🥰

Since I first shared that as a teenager my dad had #overthepaticencephalopathy (#OHE), a potentially progressive disease caused by cirrhosis, a liver disease, I’ve received overwhelming support and an incredible new understanding of the needs that so many people and caregivers have.
