Disgust for Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker over his misogynist and hateful remarks at last week’s commencement address at Benedictine College. Many have weighed in with disdain for his stating that women should
pursue the roles of homemakers and mothers, above all other pursuits. Yes, this idiot has the right to free speech. But what
alarmed me most was the young women graduates rising in applause for his remarks. He claims a man may have a respected profession, with a woman right by his side for support, yet a woman shouldn’t be swayed by career, but rather devote herself to her man and get busy producing children.
