Diana Nyad Instagram – Bonnie and I had the extreme pleasure of cheering Jodie Foster yesterday at her big moment of putting her hand and footprints into the famous gallery of cement at Hollywood’s Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Jodie’s cinema career defies credulity. By age 14, she had starred in Taxi Driver, Alice Doesn’t Live Here Any More, and three other sterling films. She has won and also been nominated for multiple Oscars, from The Accused, Silence of the Lambs, to our very own NYAD. Her dear friend Jamie Lee Curtis told colorful Jodie personal stories, such as her dressing in costumes for holidays and going door to door in her neighborhood, inciting others to also get into costume and widen the group. Yesterday was a big professional moment for our friend Jodie Foster.
