This past weekend was the culmination of 8 months of hard work and deep community with @modarts_dance and @leahsmileytubbs . Words honestly escape escape me. I cannot truly express what it has meant to study under Leah’s guidance for a year dancing alongside @notnormal_yassie @toni__owens @jessicasonpark @bellezamitch and our beloved firework @sharonzulay . Finding dance and dance community in New York first with @slmdances and now with @modarts_dance has been the greatest gift my heart, mind, body, and soul could ask for.
