My hubby’s been completely off opioid addiction meds and has remained sober!🙏❤️ We’re back on your tv screens tonight & I really commend my hubby for opening up about his addiction issues & RECOVERY.👏💕 So many people say “don’t air your dirty laundry” but what if we do? What if we share the “skeletons” in our closets and realize that SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME EXACT DIRTY LAUNDRY AND SKELETONS?! 🎯 Suffering alone in silence only amplifies the problems you have. If you can open up about them (even if only with a therapist) you will feel a sense of freedom & peace within yourself that you haven’t felt in a long time. I promise you that🙏🙏🙏 It’s not a secret I am an oversharer… I really believe that sharing your ugly warts is what gives you internal peace. And honestly, you’ll realize you are not the only one with “ugly warts.”💯 So many people hide in shame with their problems alone – but if they opened up about ‘em they’d realize they’re not alone at all. There are whole communities filled with people struggling with the same issues – you just gotta find your people.🫶🏻 Sure, some people will judge ya – but they’re not your people. (Even if they’re family – that doesn’t mean they’re instantly your people.) MOST people will either relate to you and your struggles or at the very least want to help you. THOSE are the people you want to focus on & give your time, energy, and love to.❤️❤️❤️ If you’re reading this, chances are you may be struggling alone about something.💜 My heart goes out to you. It’s not easy opening up—it took my hubby nearly 10 years!
