We were trying so HARD and for SO LONG to grow our family. Doug always wanted 3 kids and I’ve always wanted a whole house full!😋
It was so odd when I was diagnosed with secondary infertility bc I just knew in my heart I was meant to be a mommy to more babies.
I kept praying and trusting God. I tried every concoction known to help increase fertility. I went to the fertility doc and heard I had a blocked fallopian tube, “low-normal” AMH, MTHFR and a slew of other issues preventing us from getting pregnant …. 🙃
It wasn’t until a friend came over and told me@she had a word from God for more …. “Give God all the glory” …. That was it.🤯 What the heck did that even mean?!
I decided to stop with all my concoctions for just that month. We were going on a family cruise on Icon Of The Seas and I wanted to truly enjoy it.
I got pregnant then.🤰
SHOCKED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!👏🙏🥳🥰
Then when we found out it was TWO babies in me … I about lost it!🤯💜👏💕

I was feeling kicks with all my other pregnancies by 17 weeks, but baby A has an anterior placenta so I rarely feel a thing.😭
The doc told me I should appreciate not feeling it while it lasts bc I have 4 arms and 4 legs – 👏8 extremities👏 – inside me that will be kicking and punching hard all day and night. Aaaand when he puts it like that I guess I should be thankful I can’t feel anything yet!😆 I will continue to wait patiently for their movements. ☺️
But Henley and Hendrix (Henley in particular) cannot wait to start feeling the kicks too!! 🥹 she asks me *every single day*🤪😅
These identical boys are so loved already! We just gotta get them names bc I feel like naming them helps me bond with them. And Baby A and Baby B just feels so clinical!😅
If they were girls we had a long list – we loved Haven, Hope, Havana, Hayleigh, Harley, Harbor, Holland and so many more for girls … for boys we are still grasping at straws?!?🤪😅

Henley was the last kid in her class to lose a baby tooth too. We had the contractor & CAD drawer over to start renovating our office into a nursery for these baby boys!🤗 I’m not sure what theme we will do for their nursery – maybe woodland with baby animals? The scariest decision of my life turned out to be the BEST decision of my life.👰🙏🤵♂️ Marrying a complete stranger on a new reality show called married at first sight wasn’t exactly a childhood dream of mine🤪😆 but I knew in my gut that just *maybe* it could lead me to my happily ever after🤞❤️
Ten years & two beautiful children later (with two on the way🤰) I couldn’t be more thankful for the life we have built together.🥰
I’m also so darn proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and taking a big risk on a guy who was also willing to take that same big risk on me.🙏😍❤️
I never knew what it was like to do life over the long haul with someone.
I never knew my dad. And I saw my mom get in awful relationships where she’d either be physically or emotionally abused (a lot of times both)! I didn’t trust men. My mom always told me most men only wanted one thing, “They’ll love you and leave you!”
I watched it happen to her over and over again so I knew she wasn’t wrong.
…but then married at first sight came calling saying they had relationship experts who would help you find your scientific “perfect” pair and then help you in your relationship along the way.
My thought was “this sounds too good to be true.”👀
I decided to go for it and really try to give it my all. I’m so thankful @doughehner went for it and gave it his all too. Because it takes two to make a marriage work.🙏🩷
If you’re worried about taking a big risk (ok, maybe not marrying a complete stranger 🤣) but any big risk and you know you want it but you’re scared of the process or outcome – JUST GO FOR IT!👏
The best thing will be that you get closer to your dreams – the worst is that you’ll learn something while trying.

We got pregnant w twins spontaneously-wo any fertility treatment-after 3 yrs trying to conceive(& being diagnosed w secondary infertility)🤯👏🙏🎉
Everyone asks what I did..
First of all, I give *all* the credit to God. I’d pray & envision myself w a healthy pregnancy🙏 I’m so thankful God chose to bless us with *two* healthy babies!🤰👶👶
I did change my lifestyle to try to help myself get pregnant (and honestly, I was just about to seek fertility treatment. But before we spent our life’s savings on IVF I decided to try to help myself become as healthy and strong as possible!)💪
Here’s what I did to try to help myself get pregnant naturally:
1) I cut out all alcohol. I literally just quit drinking cold turkey.🤪
2) I stopped drinking a gallon of caffeinated beverages every day. I stopped w my morning coffee, afternoon Starbucks coffee order, and energy drinks whenever I felt sluggish. I switched to only green tea and only once a day. THIS WAS HARD.🤪
3) I got a gym membership and went at least 3X a week. I became more active & focused on strength training💪
4) I began taking supplements that I had researched and were proven to help. I took @needed optimal egg quality and I had Doug take the sperm support before I ever even partnered with them bc I knew they give optimal nutrition (not just the bare minimum). I also took their CoQ10. I took prenatal vitamins & a few other supplements, too.
5)I changed my diet. I tried cutting out gluten, dairy and extra processed/sugary foods (I def cheated on this🫣) Progress, not perfection was my motto. I did increase my protein & veggies🥗

It’s not a secret I am an oversharer… I really believe that sharing your ugly warts is what gives you internal peace. And honestly, you’ll realize you are not the only one with “ugly warts.”💯
So many people hide in shame with their problems alone – but if they opened up about ‘em they’d realize they’re not alone at all. There are whole communities filled with people struggling with the same issues – you just gotta find your people.🫶🏻
Sure, some people will judge ya – but they’re not your people. (Even if they’re family – that doesn’t mean they’re instantly your people.)
MOST people will either relate to you and your struggles or at the very least want to help you. THOSE are the people you want to focus on & give your time, energy, and love to.❤️❤️❤️
