Jamie Otis Instagram – I cry at the drop of a hat w these pregnancy hormones!🤪😅 But Ive never felt so productive doing nothing!😜 They say in your second trimester you are supposed to have more energy, but gotta be honest, most days I am still struggling🤪😅 Its hard to get anything done…but I have to remind myself… I am growing not one, but TWO beautiful baby boys🤰🩵💙 On a super positive note, I haven’t thrown up in THREE DAYS now!!! I think I may be turning a corner!!!🤞🤞🤞 Everyone asks us what we are naming them …. We don’t even have a short list yet …. Please share fav boy names bc naming two boys is gonna be so hard!
Jamie Otis Instagram – I was all alone at 19 yrs old, a freshman in college & raising my three younger siblings in that last trailer. I worked every second I wasn’t at school bc I had *no family* who reached out to help me. As a matter of fact, my “family” didn’t even call to check in on us kids to see how we were doing fending for ourselves with no parents.😶 Now that I’m an adult with a family of my own it absolutely baffles me that people knew our circumstances but no one offered a hand to help in any way!🤯 ***That’s ok though bc it made me that much stronger!***💪 I never pitied myself or asked “why me, God?!” I just kept my head down and kept working hard!👊 People – even family – won’t always be there for you. You gotta know that YOU can count on YOU.🙌 Never, ever pity yourself.🙅‍♀️ Don’t give up when times are hard, keep pushing through until times are better!👏 AND I promise they will be!💯 I didn’t have much of anything back then but I did believe in myself & I believed God was looking out for me and my siblings. I also knew that if I could just get a degree that would guarantee me a well-paid job as quickly as possible I could make a better life for me and my siblings.🙏🙏🙏 I went to the guidance counselor at my little community college and asked what 2-year degree can I get that pays more than minimum wage. She told me nursing and I never looked back.👏 Don’t let lack of finances, lack of family, lack of support or anything of the sort stop you from reaching your dreams & becoming a better you! It’s hard work, but if I can do it, YOU CAN TOO!💯👏🩷 #fakeittillyoumakeit #staypositive #workhard #believeinyourself #dontgiveup
