Jane Goodall Instagram – Step into the enchanting embrace of Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania 🌳
We love this haven of biodiversity — which ranges from grassland to woodland to rainforest — and have worked hard to protect it.
In 1992, while flying over Gombe forests where she first researched chimpanzees, Jane Goodall saw a sobering sight: The lush landscape had changed drastically with significantly fewer trees. This crucial, biodiverse forest ecosystem is so essential for wildlife to thrive — and the @janegoodallinst has been working to protect it ever since.
Since that fateful flight, we‘ve worked hand in hand with local communities, governments, and partners to make a difference.
🤝Together, we’ve revitalized over 6 million hectares of habitat across Africa!
