Jenni Falconer Instagram – Unexpected extra few days in Cape Town and a storm has arrived. However with less than 2 weeks till @londonmarathon I am sticking to the training plan. 🏃🏼‍♀️

Today, according to my training plan, it was a 5k with sprints at the end. I might not be back in Blighty but I’m sticking to the programme…. 👊🏻

If you’re thinking of training for a race or an event, I really recommend getting a plan all sorted in advance. I used the @coopahruncoach training app and it has honestly been brilliant. (#ad). I had 10 days in March when I had to cease all running due to an ankle niggle but otherwise I have stuck to it religiously. Even here I have managed to keep on track. It has helped me with structure to my marathon build up, stopped me over-training and has allowed me to plan my week around my running. Love it. Actually think I might feel a bit lost once the marathon is over….might have to just start training for something else. 😊

I can’t believe there is less than a fortnight to go. Anyone know what the weather is going to be like on April 21st?! 🤔
