Jennifer Gimenez Instagram – Today I celebrate 18 years Sober. I’m beyond grateful for a loving God, the 12 steps, my sponsor @theresafair, my family, friends & the 12 step community. To my husband @timryandopeman, I love you my king & thank you for being my partner in every way, for holding me up when I need it & for always inspiring me to grow. For all the laughter & how much you love me. I’m so honored to be your wife. Tim you are a gift from God. I’ve come along way from the lost girl I once was. I no longer live with untreated trauma, guilt, shame or remorse. I do not do this alone. I have recovered out loud. I have no shame in saying “I’m a woman in recovery” because it gave me a life. I had to & still do the work. Today there is so much more depth & weight to who I am on the inside. I know I just have today & spiritual tools to use. I do not do this journey alone. For anyone struggling I promise there is hope and help out there. This disease of addiction does not discriminate.
