Fittingly named after the iconic Angela Davis, Angela is a longtime activist, who has always fought to leave our world better than she found it. At the helm of @momsdemand, Angela has taken the gun violence prevention movement to new heights, emphasizing inclusivity and diversity every step of the way. Angela crisscrosses the country, visiting red states and blue states alike, to meet with survivors, students, and advocates. She always emphasizes the importance of intersectionality, and aims to center the people most impacted by this crisis with solutions that reflect the depth of what’s needed to create a safer country. As a mother of four herself, she knows exactly what’s at stake. Whether it’s rallying at the Supreme Court, partnering with community organizations on the ground, or showing up at state houses across America, Angela is dedicated to building our movement with a fiery hope that is contagious to anyone who meets her.
