Proof good sides are a thing. 🤖 For years (okay! let’s be honest, it was more like a decade), I was adamant that I didn’t want to try an insulin pump. I just couldn’t stand the idea of having something attached to my body all the time… until I found out that a tubeless pump existed. My fav part about @omnipod is that it’s small and tubeless, and depending on my mood, I can choose what side I want people to see. Dancing to the sound of my @dexcom G7 alarms like 💃🏻 So I recently made the switch to the Dexcom G7, and I am just LOVING it! Hence, the dancing… it’s small, painless and so accurate 🤖 Plus, I really like that it comes with the its own overpatch (yay!) which is perfect for the warm weather! ☀️ I always like to add an overpatch over my sensor when I know it’s going to be hot out or if I’m going to be spending time at the pool beach or working out (ie. just sweating more, in general). Before: making short films when I was just diagnosed and hiding my T1D After: making a feature film about my story and showing off my T1D 🎥 ♡ 🎥 If I could tell my newly diagnosed teenage self what I’d be doing now, she would’ve flipped! One of the biggest misconceptions we have when we’re first diagnosed with T1D is that we’re going to have to compromise on our ambitions, and that’s just not true. monday, monday ✨ Before Quarter, there was MONDAYS. A few years ago, I wrote and starred in the web series, MONDAYS. @arnonmanor directed and produced, and we had so much fun creating it together. It was based on a lot of awkward and embarrassing situations I was going through in my twenties. As a writer and actor, I got to experiment with different types of comedy, characters, high concepts, and I learned so much. We made about 25 episodes, and the web series has received over 12 million views 👀 I also got to work with a lot of talented actors… @heyclaytron who played Ethan Craft in Lizzie McGuire played my boyfriend (I highly recommend casting your childhood crush as your love interest), @officialkjb (a Halloweentown icon) played my future self, and @heatherrelizabethh played my life coach (true story: at one point, I actually did hire a life coach in LA, which I do not recommend…) Making MONDAYS was an amazing experience, and it was a big inspiration for @quartermovie – which I can’t wait to share more about soon, but in the meantime, #watchmondays
