Kirsten Ramsay Instagram – It was an absolute pleasure to return to West Dean College earlier this Summer and film in the beautiful grounds with Markus Dell.
I was keen to highlight the the work that goes on at the college offering world class conservation courses in a unique and supportive learning environment.
It’s thirty years since I was a student here but during my two year training I made lifelong friends and connections. When I was asked to appear on the BBC programme The Repair Shop as a Ceramics Conservator seven years ago, I said yes because I knew it was filmed right next to my old college and I still have strong connections with this place.
If you are interested in a career in conservation then there are many different disciplines to choose from, ceramics just being one.
West Dean College offer’s you a foundation to start your career from.
