Lilián García Instagram – I heard this quote some years ago when I was experiencing pain from what someone had done to me. At first I was like, “Heck no, I’m not willing to forgive.” But as the days, weeks, and months went by, I realized that not forgiving them was eating me up inside. It was time to be set free. I decided to go to my local church and speak to the Pastor. He was able to help me release that pain and forgive that person. As soon as I did, an overwhelming peace came over me. I never realized how holding on to that hurt was acting like fire, burning all my joy. Letting it go will set me free!
