May is Mental Health Awareness Month. That is why today, I was proud to wear green with many of my colleagues and say that there is no shame in seeking care for your mental health. Together, we can dedicate necessary resources, make care accessible, and break this stigma.

I’m grateful for all @bfwalliance does to strengthen neighborhoods and disrupt concentrated poverty. One of their members, @westendnh, has been doing it for years in Delaware. Together, we can give people the skills & resources they need to live their dreams.

I was proud to vote for the bipartisan Fire Grants and Safety Act yesterday so that we can continue to make good on our commitment to always support our firefighters and first responders in Delaware – like those in the Christiana Fire Company! This bill will ensure Delaware’s local fire departments have what they need to train & prepare our first responders, like helping them learn how to drive a firetruck! Take it from me – it’s harder than it looks. I’ll continue to do all I can to support our local heroes.
Connecting Delawareans with federal and local resources to improve their lives has always been a priority of mine. That’s why I was proud to host another resource fair last week in Lewes focused on doing just that for our seniors. Read more at the 🔗 in bio. 🎥: @wboc16
I’ve heard from households across Delaware about how much the Affordable Connectivity Program has helped them. I will continue to do all I can to restore funding to the ACP because we know that reliable internet access is more important now than ever.
