Maggie Q Instagram – For my job, I get to work with the top stunt coordinators and choreographers in the world. I trust that they know the specifics of the movements I need to do, and the prep I need to master them. 

My end of the bargain is making sure my body is ready for these intense periods of work. The best way I know how to do that is increasing my cardiovascular endurance! I always show up to set and make sure my body won’t be the thing holding back my training. Mental errors during pre-production are okay and part of the process. But I won’t let my fellow cast and crew down by showing up out of shape. 

Here’s my run-walk cardio routine: 

30-40 minutes total
60 seconds of running (light jog, not all out sprint) 
2 minutes of walking
