Maggie Q Instagram – When we get up in the morning, we’re so excited to see our animals. I know I am! However, all this high-energy affection riles up my dogs and sets us up for whine-filled car rides and over anxious behavior.
BUT! We can help our dogs remain more calm in the morning by having the same calm presence we wish to see in them.
Try giving your dogs less attention when you first wake up in them morning. Get your stuff ready for the day, take care of you. Then, after your morning walk or exercise you can let the love kick in! Once you’re out on your walk, your dogs can expend all that happy energy from your love in a proper setting as opposed to in your house or car.
This has worked with my little dog pack and I think it could work for you! | Posted on 16/May/2024 21:49:33
