Markéta Irglová Instagram – Jesus Christ Superstar is my favorite movie of all time, it has been since I was 4. Last Wednesday I got the opportunity to see it on the big screen. I took my daughter with me, and there were maybe 10 other people in the theater with us. It is the only movie during which I took screen shots, that is how much of a fan I am!
I cried at the end, it’s impossible not to. We left the theater and were greeted by the most glorious sunset, as if it traveled from the screen right on to our sky. It was a magical evening, one I shall remember always.
This movie and music inspired me and continue to inspire me beyond what words can say. It has formed me as a person, and it has formed my musical inclination and sensitivity. Above all it was my first love and my introduction to spirituality.
I was reminded of all the reasons I love this movie so passionately, as I watched it last week. And I realized that no one will ever speak better words to live by than Jesus did. Tha manual is all there.
