Also, I wrote this song because I needed to process grief over a homeless person that I saw earlier that day and literally couldn’t make sense out of how fucked up it is that the truth of who we really are (powerful creators) is still hidden to so many of us. I also simultaneously felt so much joy and gratitude for the day that this person will be liberated as it is inevitable for everyone on the planet whether in this life or the next.. to become self realized. As someone who was homeless as a child for a period of time and for many years couch surfed with my family, and my mother was living in her car for a year recently (she’s in a better place now), these poverty, lack, scarcity, victimization and addiction programs are something I have been working really hard to overcome myself.. I know I was born to transcend them, among many other things. I realize that I alone can’t change the world but what I can do is make art that heals me and spreads messages and frequencies that help awaken people to remember their own divinity because that is how we shift out of these old paradigms..
I also know that you can be homeless and happier than someone living in a mansion.. but that is another conversation and in this post I’m talking about the majority of homelessness🫶
