Melanie Lynskey Instagram – Edited because people are freaking out in the comments because the first sentence scared them. I am sorry to those people who got scared. This is not a scary post, it is just a birthday post which is almost 100% what my Instagram feed is comprised of. I apologise for being “melodramatic” but I did get a bit overwhelmed today by my love for my friend of like 25 years. I’m sorry to anyone who was upset! Ok here’s the post.
I started crying looking at pictures of you to post today. I don’t know how to express what you mean to me. You are my best friend, my soulmate. I want to tell you everything, and I want to hear every single story about everything that’s happened to you. I think the thing that sums up our friendship best is our car time, where we’ve already been at dinner for three hours but then we spend another hour and a half talking in the car when you drop me off, or on the rare occasion that I drive myself, we talk on the phone all the way home. Melanie Lynskey Instagram – My poppet!! The world’s most amazing friend. How grateful I am that I said yes to that pomegranate martini (ugh!) after work one day when I guest-starred on Psych. What a life-changing and sugary night!! We connected so intensely immediately, and ever since then our love for each other has only gotten stronger and our bond has gotten deeper and we are #poppetsforever , this I know for sure. Thank you for listening without judgment, for being so thoughtful, kind and insightful. No matter how many poppet times we have I will always shoo interlopers away. Our time is too important.
