Peppermint Instagram – I had such an amazing night spending time with community who understand and are dedicated to the importance of uplifting lgbtq youth especially those I’m high school age. I’ve always felt fabulously queer but most of that road was alone in high school. I can only imagine how my life would have been different had I been able to connect with more queer classmates and peers. I’m grateful for the work that @glsen does every day and have been doing for over 30 years, and now chaired by my friend and life long muse ( yes Ricky changed my existence ) @wcruz73, I’m honored to have been asked to be this year’s host for the respect awards.
