That’s how my soul feels when I’m not observant. Some people in my life tell me that I talk to much about my faith on IG these days but my faith is my life. It gets me through eveyr day and takes me on physical and spiritual journeys throughout each day, making the mundane meaningful.
I had a horribly unobserved shabbos this week and I can feel my soul paying the price. It’s like my spiritual eyes closed just a little bit; like a little light goes out inside.
If anyone else can relate, please chime in.
Passover is also this week and I’m concerned I won’t be observant enough.
