Today is a testament to doing what you can, when you can. No budget for a movie? Shoot a short film. Not seeing the roles you want to play? Create magnificent photos to embody those characters. And every step is a vital part of the journey.
Sitting deep in this moment as I give creative direction notes for someone else’s photoshoot and scout locations for my directorial debut. It’s a beautiful full circle. A reminder that investing in and creating art on your own terms is a journey worth taking, and eventually, the world will catch up.
