Tiya Sircar Instagram – I know I post a lot about food & restaurants but rarely do those make it on the grid. But man, I had the most incredible meal last night & just had to share. In a city full of the best Korean, Thai, Chinese, Ethiopian, Persian (etc etc) food, Los Angeles is a barren wasteland of Indian restaurants. 😫 Well, @baarbaarlosangeles has changed all that. It’s the best Indian restaurant in the city. There, I said it. 😌 And to make it extra special for me, personally, Baar Baar’s chef/owner AND sommelier are both from Calcutta (Kolkata) where my family is from— Sujan Sarkar & Raj Parr, respectively.
Really can’t say enough good things about this place, y’all. Go! STAT! You can thank me later. 😘😘
Oh and if ya go, make sure to order the: chutney set, avocado pachadi, oysters w/ caviar, dahi puri, cauliflower 65, tuna bhel, Kashmiri duck birria taco (yes, you read that right), shrimp ghee roast (to die for), and the lamb keema with the pao bread (also to die for). 🤤 | Posted on 19/Nov/2023 01:26:20
