Last night, I took myself on a date to see Defining Courage, a show about Americans soldiers of Japanese ancestry who served in the segregated military units of the 100th IB, 442nd RCT, MIS, and 522nd FAB in WWII. They were the fiercest units of that time. No one really knows their story. Neither did I. A keynote speech cleverly turned into a performance by @abc7davidono accompanied by amazing live musicians. Stood and looked at this beautiful view of Dtla afterwards to reflect. 🕊️
