Viva Bianca Instagram – Buzzed to join #FashionRevolutionWeek (this week and every week) to raise the alarm about the intersection between fashion, our climate crisis, and social injustices.
@antoniobeliveau and I founded @heyjoey_label in 2023 to address the fashion industry’s epic waste issue by incentivizing people to recycle and resell their old clothes and also by repurposing fabric from styles from past collections and using offcuts and deadstock to make kids clothes, hats, bag and scrunchies.
Being a voice in this space has often felt like an uphill battle due to the affordability, convenience and ubiquity of fast fashion. So, coming together as a community of impassioned fashion activists feels good in that together our voices can sing a bit louder.
