A new survey by The Guardian suggests world’s top climate scientists believe the planet is headed for at least 2.5 degrees of heating, with disastrous consequences – yet there’s still time to turn things around.
But what is stopping climate action? 75% of the survey’s respondents pointed to the lack of political will 😠.
❌Policies like the Govt’s Future Gas Strategy, announced today are putting gas companies ahead of Australians (and the planet).
✔️Removing methane gas from the atmosphere must be a top priority to combat global heating, but the government is not acting.
🌏 We need to act with urgency and ambition and reduce emissions by at least 75% by 2035.
