Adam Bandt Instagram – Labor’s latest plan to solve the housing crisis is to give more tax handouts to private developers so they can build more apartments which nobody can afford.
As @mchandlermather put its – Labor claims 10% of the apartments will be “affordable” but their definition of “affordable” would see a nurse in Marrickville paying $657 a week in rent, which is more than 50% of their take home pay.
Public money should not go to developers to build unaffordable apartments.
