Barry Jenkins Instagram – Father’s Day. They BOTH crushed this. And it wasn’t very many takes: we filmed the montage that follows this in the film on the same day. We ended the scene on the shot we did because I loved where @michaelbeach went when the dialogue concluded. We have it filmed from the otherside but being close to him at the end like this, you felt all the undercurrents of what Frank is going through in that simple shake of the glass and lingering gaze.
