Carl Lentz Instagram – What I was thinking when I first became a dad to my now 20 YEAR OLD @avaangellentz … “I really hope God gives me grace to be a good dad because without that, I am in over my head!”
What I think NOW: I KNOW God gives grace to Dad’s, without a doubt! There is so much freedom and peace in that knowledge. It’s the only thing that has gotten me through some hard times as a dad when Ive been tempted to think I have not done a good enough job.
I’m reminded that in my weakest, God is at his strongest. I’ve seen that play out in my fatherhood experience so many times and Im forever grateful for that grace..
@avaangellentz thank you for being our first born, experimental, have no clue if this is gonna work but we are gonna try it on you because you’re our first born, amazing daughter.. it’s my honor to be your dad!
