Cory Booker Instagram – For more than 150 years June 19th has been a celebration of our country’s continued work, sacrifice, struggle, death and war in another major step towards America’s highest ideals.
Four years ago I introduced legislation to make this day an official Federal holiday, and two years later watched as the legislation became a reality.
Today as we officially celebrate this holiday I want it to be a reminder that liberty has to be for everyone.
