Dan Karaty Instagram – This is Gordon. We were fellow judges on Holland’s Got Talent for years and became great, fast friends. We shared endless laughs and made a great connection because of our careers, partying, and senses of humor. Regrettably, I took advantage of our friendship.
I used Gordon as an excuse for my hard partying at different events, Queensdays, and after parties. In the press, to my wife, and to production, I would sight Gordon to explain away my own, drunken behavior. He was an easy target to place the blame. It was totally unfair.
Through the 12-steps, which can be difficult, and in writing my book, If I’m Being Honest, I recognized this and the need to acknowledge and apologize for it.
