In 2019, my wife & I rented a house in Tangier & had to cancel at the 11th hour when Covid closed everything down. Poignant to visit solo as a guest of our friend @jasperconran who converted the late Yves Saint Laurent’s holiday home into a luxe boutique hotel for 24 guests. Joan adored Jasper & he’s created a dream destination in his signature style! We were blessed at The Convent with the presence of the wonderful legendary actor @richard.e.grant yesterday! I first met him when he was a guest at the Free South Africa concert in Trafalgar Square in 2001 at which I sang. Richard, the South African high commissioner , Tony Blair who was recently PM again, and Mandela himself walked into my dressing room. You can imagine the shock on my face! 😱❤️ A wonderful memory for Richard and I to share. I was so happy to see him and he had a GREAT time with us at the convent! XXX @sisteractsocial
