Last year, I played the lead role in “Het hart van Hadiah Tromp”. You can see her above. (Swipe) I trained hard… because she was in the Navy, also sang ska songs, and I cut off meters of hair. Sometimes my feed seems all about photography..
I notice many people can’t place the fact that I’m both an actress and a photographer. This mainly applies to people who don’t know me. They assume photography is just a hobby… or vice versa. Or, worst of all, that I no longer want to be an actress. I often feel awkward saying that’s not true… It’s the boxed-in thinking that limits so many beautiful things. Of course, I do have a focus. During the filming of “Het hart van Hadiah”, I didn’t take on any photo jobs. So, I’m not on set with a camera and my Instagram naturally focuses more on photography. I must admit, I take really bad iPhone shots.
I hope you do what you want to do and don’t let others limit you because of their opinions.
