I used to be embarrassed of these photos.
Too much, not enough, too sexy, not sexy enough, too thin, not thin enough, and on, and on, and on!🥺
We as women are always expected to fit into & check a box. But someone else is always defining the box.
And then add being Latina in top of that.
Too Latin, not Latin enough, blah, blah, blah.

Some very supportive friends of mine were like “F it Constance! Own it!”
And for them I am so grateful.

That’s my motto.

The day to protest the 1999 Italian Supreme Court ruling that Reversed a rape conviction because the victim was wearing tight jeans!
Their absurd thinking?
She must have helped to get the jeans off which they ruled implied consent.

While in this country, the Republican war on women continues!
Denying women’s right over their bodies and their healthcare!
A right that has existed for 50 years!
HOW does it make sense that my daughter would have LESS rights than I have had?!?!
ENOUGH.
Each women decides what happens to their bodies.
Each woman decides her healthcare choices!
Republicans don’t even want to allow exemptions for rap*e or ince*st,,,
or in most cases a woman has to be close to death to allow doctors to help her?!?!
Rap*sts should not get to choose the mother of their child!
Legislators say “Let the states decide!”
Let’s go smaller,
Let the cities decide,
No wait,
Let the American,
Tax paying
WOMEN DECIDE!!
And everyone else who has an opinion, needs to stay out of other women’s privates.
