Constance Marie Instagram – Me. Circa 2005. I really wish I had felt as confident inside, as I looked on the outside. (Sigh) That is the gift that aging gives. FINALLY learning that lesson. I am enough! Finally, becoming comfortable in the skin I am actually currently in. Honestly it’s still a struggle every day. But I feel I am on the other side of it! (Mostly) It is not easy for any of us. (Sigh) I used to be embarrassed of these photos. Too much, not enough, too sexy, not sexy enough, too thin, not thin enough, and on, and on, and on!🥺 We as women are always expected to fit into & check a box. But someone else is always defining the box. And then add being Latina in top of that. Too Latin, not Latin enough, blah, blah, blah. 😡 Some very supportive friends of mine were like “F it Constance! Own it!” And for them I am so grateful. 🙏🏽 So here I am! 💪🏽 “Live and learn, and help future generations of girls feel comfy in their own skin” That’s my motto. Because today, with social media and AI (💩), likes and follower count, It’s only making it harder for them. 😏 My message? YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! YOU ARE ENOUGH!
